1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the personal data collected on this site is the publisher identified in the legal information above. Any question about this policy can be sent to the contact address given there.

2. Information we collect

EU AI Compliance collects the email address and any details you provide when you use a tool, subscribe, or create an account. We also record how the site is used, which pages are viewed and which tools are run, together with technical data such as your IP address, browser and approximate region. This usage data is attached to a visitor profile so that the site can recognise a returning visitor and keep the results of a tool available to them.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

We use your data to deliver the service you asked for and to keep your results available, which is necessary to perform our contract with you. We use it to keep the site secure and to understand how it is used, which rests on our legitimate interest in running a working service. We send marketing emails and set non essential cookies only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Automated content

Some of the content and results on this site are produced with the help of artificial intelligence. What you type into a tool is sent to the AI provider that runs it, for the sole purpose of producing your result. It is not used to train public models.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies keep you signed in, remember your language and secure your session. They are required for the site to work and are set without consent. Measurement and marketing cookies are set only if you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time through your browser settings or the cookie choice offered on this site. Refusing non essential cookies does not restrict your access to the content.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers needed to operate EU AI Compliance: hosting, email delivery, payment processing by Stripe, and the AI providers that run the tools. Each acts on our instructions and only for these purposes.

7. International transfers

Some of these providers operate outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, the transfer is covered by the European Commission standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

8. Data retention

Account and contact data are kept for as long as your account is active, then for up to three years after your last contact with us. Usage and visitor profile data are kept for up to twenty five months. Records relating to an order are kept for the period required by accounting and tax law, which is ten years in France. After these periods the data is deleted or anonymised.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to the contact address in the legal information above. If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority, which in France is the CNIL.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will reflect any changes on this page.
