Mojo

Love Claude but tired of being locked to one lab?

Claude is one of the best models out there. AskMojo lets you keep using it, while also running GPT and Gemini, and it turns what you build into portable files you actually own. Same brilliant model, none of the lock-in.

What Claude is

Claude is Anthropic's AI assistant, built on its own Claude models and known for careful, high-quality reasoning. You can chat, organize work into Projects, and connect tools. For thoughtful writing and analysis, many people consider it best in class.

But Claude the product only runs Claude the model. Your conversations and Projects live inside Anthropic's app, and the assistant you carefully shape there cannot leave as a reusable, model-agnostic asset. The quality is excellent; the ownership and portability are not the point of the product.

Where Claude locks you in

Single-lab dependency

Claude only runs Anthropic models. If GPT or Gemini wins on a specific task, you have no way to switch inside the product.

Projects are not portable skills

A Project bundles instructions and files inside Claude. It is not a file you can export and re-run on another model or share as a standalone workflow.

No composable community layer

There is no shared feed where you can fork someone else's workflow and snap it into your own. You build alone, inside the app.

Cloud-only

Everything runs on Anthropic's cloud. There is no option to run an engine locally for sensitive data.

Why AskMojo is the alternative

AskMojo keeps Claude as one of its engines, you do not give up the model you like. What changes is everything around it.

Your workflows become magiks: open skill.md files you can read, version, share and run on Claude, GPT or Gemini. A community feed lets you fork a magik someone else built and compose it with yours. One click exports your whole lab as an OKF bundle you can re-import anywhere, and a local AI option keeps sensitive work off the cloud. You get Claude-quality output without betting your know-how on a single vendor's roadmap.

Frequently asked questions

Do I lose access to Claude if I switch to AskMojo?

No. Claude is one of AskMojo's engines, so you keep using it, plus you gain GPT and Gemini on the same workflows. You are no longer tied to a single lab.

Can I turn a Claude Project into a portable magik?

You rebuild the same idea as a magik, an open skill.md file. Unlike a Project, a magik runs on any model and exports as a plain file you can share or re-import elsewhere.

Is the output quality as good as Claude?

It is the same quality when you pick Claude as the engine, because it is literally Claude underneath. The added value is choice and portability, not a downgrade in the model.

Why does model-agnostic matter?

Models leapfrog each other every few months. If your work is locked to one lab, you are stuck when another model pulls ahead. AskMojo lets you switch the engine and keep everything you built.
